Joint research is a system in which company researchers and university faculty collaborate as equal partners on a shared research topic. There are two types of joint research arrangements. Applicants select one and specify it in the joint research agreement when applying.

・The university accepts joint researchers and research expenses, including visiting researcher fees, from private companies.
* Visiting Researcher Fees: A visiting researcher fee of 440,000 JPY per year per researcher must be covered. If the research period is within six months, the fee is 220,000 JPY, and if within three months, the fee is 110,000 JPY.
(2) Burden-sharing Form
・The university and the company conduct their parts of the research separately at their own locations.
・The university receives research expenses from private companies.
Sponsored research is a system where university researchers conduct studies, tests, and investigations using research expenses provided by sponsors, such as private companies or organizations. The results are reported back to the sponsor.
Academic consulting is a system where university faculty members provide expert guidance and advice in education, research, and technology. Companies and other organizations request this support to improve their business operations or activities.
